The 2024 Fellowship Application is now open for UT students to apply for the Summer 2024 fellowship focused on democratic institutional development in Panama. Applications are due by November 1, 2023.

Selected students will participate in an innovative research fellowship in Summer 2024 focused on democracy assistance and research. By combining applied work and research, the fellowship aims to launch students’ work in the field while advancing democratic development.

The program provides unparalleled opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students from various disciplines across UT to work in International IDEA’s Latin American offices. Students work with International IDEA to support democracy assistance programs, work with CCP on constitutional projects, and may also conduct research developed jointly by UT, IDEA, and CCP.

Prior fellows’ blogs are a great source of information on the variety of projects and experiences fellows have in the field. For more information on the application process, visit the program’s application webpage or download the 2024 Fellowship Flyer.
